Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This height adjustment lever (Part #38458063) is a replacement lever for the Hoover WindTunnel V2 upright, fitting models U8131-900 and U8140-900. It sets the nozzle height so you can match bare floors, low pile, or thick carpet.

When the lever breaks, the nozzle gets stuck at a single height and cleans poorly on any surface it is not set for, either scraping hard floors or riding too high over deep carpet. A working lever returns full height range and proper contact with each floor type.

  • Function: Adjusts nozzle height across floor types
