Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Most in-stock orders using standard shipping are processed within 1-5 business days, and most arrive 2-11 business days after they are placed. Backordered and special-order items may take longer. Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part CH28280V is a 40-volt battery pack sized for the Hoover CH27280, the piece that powers the tool once it leaves the outlet behind.

Every rechargeable cell wears down a little with each charge cycle, and eventually the tool that used to finish a whole job on one charge starts quitting halfway through, or the pack stops taking a charge altogether. Since the battery is what everything else on a cordless tool depends on, a worn one is worth ruling out before assuming the motor or switch has gone bad.

  • Symptom it fixes: shortened runtime or a pack that will not take a charge
  • Tip: stick with the charger that shipped with the tool rather than a substitute, to get full life from the new pack

Fitting it means taking out the depleted pack and putting this one in its place. Double-check that your machine is labeled CH27280 before you order, since cordless packs are matched to a specific tool and a pack of the same voltage from another machine will not necessarily mount.
