Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Hose assembly for the Hoover FH53000 series carpet washers, part 440012816, and for the FH52023V.
The hose carries both suction and solution out to the hand tool for stairs, upholstery and edges, so a fault in it shows up only in above-floor work. The machine keeps cleaning carpet normally while the tool goes weak, which sends most people hunting for a blockage that is not there. Look instead at the flex points just behind each cuff, and at the cuffs themselves, because a hose that has pulled loose in its collar leaks air with no visible damage at all.
The replacement connects in place of the original. Check that both ends seat fully home; a cuff left half engaged reproduces the exact fault you were trying to fix.
