Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This stretch belt drives the brush roll on the Hoover PowerDash Pet Compact carpet cleaner. It is stocked as part 440014074 and is the same belt Hoover also numbers 440012733.

A stretch belt is tensioned by its own elasticity, which is exactly why it is a service item: heat and hours take the stretch out of it. Long before it snaps it starts to slip, so the roller turns slower than it should and the machine stops scrubbing. Carpet comes up wet but not much cleaner, and pet hair stays where it was.

The belt fits the PowerDash Pet Compact models FH50700, FH50702, FH50703I and FH50710. With the roller out for the swap, pull off any hair wound around the shaft ends, because that drag is often what finished the old belt.
