Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 93001689 is the duct cover on the Hoover U5180-900 Fusion upright, a small panel over the internal channel that carries air from the nozzle onward into the machine. Once it cracks or comes loose, that channel stops holding a seal, and air starts drawing in from the gap instead of from the floor.

The symptom is lost pickup at the floor that routine maintenance does not cure, because the fault sits in the housing rather than in anything you empty or wash. A worn seam or a corner tab that has snapped off is often all it takes to open enough of a gap to change how the whole machine performs at the nozzle, and the panel sits where most owners never open the machine far enough to see it. An upright depends on its air path staying sealed through every joint in the housing, and a leak this close to the nozzle costs pickup before the airflow ever reaches the collection side of the machine.

Fitting the replacement closes the channel back up so air is drawn from the nozzle the way it was designed to be, and suction at the floor returns.
