Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Cord wrap for the Hoover U6445, part 39442048. This is the hook the power cord is wound onto for storage, not the cord itself.
Fitment runs wide across the Hoover range, covering the C3820, the F5810, F5863900, F5899100, F5900900, F5903900 and F5906900, the F5915 and F5917 series, the F5918900 and F6215900, the FH50020, FH50021 and FH50041 through FH50048CA models, and the U5140900 through U5435900 uprights.
Cord wraps break at the base, where years of winding put a bending load on the same spot, and the failure is worse than it sounds. A cord that will not stay wound gets trodden on, run over by the machine it belongs to, and pulled at the plug, so a broken hook is usually followed within months by a damaged cord. Replacing it is a few minutes' work that heads off the more expensive fault.
