Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

This floor mount adaptor, part 030030, is a fitting for Beam central vacuum pipe installations. It joins sections of the vacuum tubing at a floor-level connection point, a spot in the pipe run that takes more physical abuse than a fitting hidden inside a wall.

Furniture, foot traffic, and the hose itself can all knock against a floor-level fitting, and once the joint loosens or cracks, the whole system loses suction because air is drawn in at the leak instead of at the inlet in use.

Central vacuum piping is normally solvent-welded into a single sealed network, so a single failed joint anywhere in the run can rob suction from every inlet rather than just the section nearest the leak. That is what makes a floor-level fitting worth replacing at the first sign of cracking rather than waiting to see if it gets worse.
