Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part D480-3200 is the dust cover latch assembly, also called the bag door catch, for the Maytag M700 and the Riccar R20 and Simplicity S20 series uprights. It is supplied as a complete latch rather than as the individual pieces that make one up.

The fault a worn latch produces is a cover that will not stay shut, or one that closes without pulling up tight. Neither is worth leaving, because a dust cover is only doing its job while it is properly latched. Latches also take a small mechanical load every time the cover is opened and closed, which is why they are among the parts most often renewed on a machine that is otherwise sound.
