Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The upper wire harness, part 1710530000, is the loom that carries power from the controls down into the body of Dirt Devil's CE6000-series carpet extractors. It also fits the Hoover FH50005.

Harness faults read as electrical gremlins rather than a clean failure. The machine runs until you move the handle, the pump quits while the vacuum motor keeps going, a switch stops doing anything, or nothing happens at all. The usual cause is a conductor broken inside its insulation where the wires flex at the handle joint. Because this is a mains-voltage part in a machine that handles water, routing and connections need to be right, and it is worth having fitted by someone comfortable with that.

Coverage runs across the CE6000, CE6100, CE6105, CE7000, CE7100C and CE7150 extractors plus the Hoover FH50005. Unplug the machine and photograph the routing before the old loom comes out.
