Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This replacement Kenmore cord rewind spring powers the automatic cord retraction on your vacuum, winding the power cord back into the housing at the pull of the release. It provides the tension that keeps the cord neatly stored between uses.

A broken or weakened spring leaves the cord hanging out with no retraction, or lets it rewind slowly and incompletely. Fitting a fresh spring restores brisk, full retraction so the cord pulls back cleanly and stays out of the way.
