Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part D390-1500 is the cord reel assembly for full-size Riccar and Simplicity canister vacuums built on the S36, S38, 1700 and 1800 chassis. It is catalogued as a complete assembly, so the reel is renewed as one unit rather than repaired piece by piece.

A cord reel is one of the few items on a canister that gets worked every single time the machine is used, and it is normally replaced only once it has stopped doing its job properly. Splicing or taping a cord is a short-term answer at best, and on a part that carries mains power it is not an answer worth living with.
