Part B223-1300 is the mounting post that a cordless Clean Max ZM800 or Titan T500 upright's battery pack drops onto, the point that holds it physically in place and carries its electrical connection through to the machine. Simplicity and Riccar equivalents built on the same platform use the same post.
Every pack swap loads this exact spot, plastic and metal both, and on a commercial machine cycling through several packs in one shift, that sheer repetition wears the post down faster than any single heavy day of use would. Once it has worn or cracked, expect to see a battery that only powers up after being wiggled into place, a machine that dies the instant it gets bumped or nudged, or a pack that refuses to click down into place no matter how it is pressed.
Since the post carries current in addition to bearing weight, a loosened connection can also add resistance right at the contact point, and that shows up as a pack running warmer than normal or draining faster than it should, even when the same battery tests perfectly fine on a charger. Physical looseness paired with a battery that seems to underdeliver is a stronger clue pointing at the post than at the pack, because a solidly seated connection does not generate heat on its own.
