Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

This caster wheel assembly is built for the Sun and Jill canister vacuums, part C361-0600. The two are sister machines sold under different names, the Sun as a Riccar and the Jill as a Simplicity, and a caster like this carries the canister's full weight with every push so the body rolls rather than drags behind you.

Casters on a canister see harder use than most people realize. The wheel is small, so the load per square inch of contact is high, and the stem connecting it to the body takes a side load every time the canister is pulled at an angle instead of straight back. Over time the wheel can flat-spot, the axle pin can wear loose in its socket, or the assembly can crack at the stem where it meets the housing. Any of these shows up the same way: the canister starts to drag, pull to one side, or catch at the edge of a rug instead of rolling over it.

This assembly ships complete, so nothing needs to be salvaged from the caster being replaced.
