Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Stocked under part number A09, this felt pack outfits a Carpet Pro CPU1 commercial upright along with the sibling machines built on the same underlying frame. Felts are the soft cushions wedged between the rigid plastic sections of the airway, at the bag-mount collar, the throat leading into the nozzle, and the fan housing itself, and they are the reason a bagged upright stays sealed rather than merely bolted shut around loose joints.
These parts wear out through ordinary use, not a defect. Repeated compression flattens the material permanently, oil and fine dust work their way in over months of runtime, and eventually the felt loses its ability to press back firmly against the surface it seals. What results is an upright that has quietly lost pickup with nothing obviously broken, occasionally with a light haze of dust drifting out along a seam never designed to leak air.
Because the decline happens gradually, most owners blame a fuller bag or dirtier carpet long before anyone opens the housing to look inside. Swapping in new felts any time the housing is already open for other repairs is the simplest way to catch the problem before a customer ever files a complaint about weak pickup.
