Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part C017-3800 is the carpet and floor switch bracket subassembly supplied as the R and 6 Series upgrade. It is listed for the Maytag M700 and for the Riccar R20 and Simplicity S20 series uprights. A bracket of this kind is the structural piece that carries the carpet and bare floor selector switch, so its work is holding that switch steady in whichever setting has been chosen.

Brackets are replaced because they have broken, not because they have worn out on any schedule. Once the plastic has cracked there is nothing solid left behind the selector, and the setting stops staying put. Fitting a sound bracket puts the switch back on a rigid mounting without touching the switch itself.
