Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

A power cord that keeps unwinding on its own has usually lost one of its two hooks at the base, where the plastic takes the sharpest bend during a fast release. Part 5144HG is the light gray hook SEBO fits to the AUTOMATIC X1 and X2 and to the ESSENTIAL G1 and G2, and it gives the cord a firm anchor to wrap around between jobs.
Once a hook snaps, the cord drapes on the floor where it gets stepped on, rolled over and pulled through doorways. Fitting a fresh one keeps the wrap tight and takes the tugging off the cord's entry point into the machine — which is the failure that turns a two-dollar moulding into a cord replacement. The break itself is rarely dramatic: a hairline at the root of the hook, then one careless yank and it is gone.
