Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

This Commutator Cutter in hard brown is a professional shop tool sold as a 2-pack, each stick measuring 1/4 by 1/2 inch. It resurfaces the commutator on a vacuum motor's armature, cutting away carbon buildup and light scoring from the copper segments.

Over time, carbon from the motor brushes glazes and scores the commutator, which degrades brush contact and robs the motor of power. Dressing the surface with a cutting stick restores clean, even contact so the brushes seat properly and the motor runs at full efficiency, extending its service life.
