Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Post-motor filter for the Bissell PowerForce Helix uprights, part 1608234, fitting the 1700 and 1701 series and the 2190 and 2191.
This filter sits after the motor and catches the fine dust that would otherwise leave through the exhaust vents. It is the one people forget, because the machine keeps picking up long after it has loaded. The sign is not a dead vacuum but a warm, dusty smelling exhaust and a slow slide in suction that emptying the dirt cup does not fix.
Fitting a fresh one takes seconds behind the exhaust cover and often makes an immediate difference to how hard the motor is working. If the old filter has gone grey right through to the outer face, it has been restricting airflow for a while and the pre-motor filter is probably due as well.
