Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the baffle and float assembly from the recovery tank of a Bissell upright deep cleaner, part 2130213. The float rises with the dirty water and shuts off airflow once the tank is full, while the baffle stops the incoming stream churning and foaming.
When the float sticks or the assembly cracks, the machine loses its overflow protection. The tank keeps filling past its mark and dirty water gets pulled through into the motor housing, which is the failure that ends carpet cleaners for good. A machine that has suddenly gone gurgly and stopped lifting water, or one that spits back onto the carpet, is often a float problem rather than a pump problem.
It fits the 1620, 1799, 7920, 7950 and 8805, along with the ProHeat ClearView 1699 series and 7901, and the PowerSteamer 1692, 1693, 1694 and 8806.
