Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 440015335 is the brush roll drive belt for Hoover's PowerDash compact carpet cleaner. Hoover lists this part number for the FH55010, FH55050PC and FH55000 machines, and it is the belt that carries the motor's rotation across to the brush roll.

A belt that has stretched or split lets the roller turn slowly or stop while the motor keeps running at full speed, so the brushes stop agitating the carpet even though the machine still sprays and lifts water normally. A burning-rubber smell is the other common sign, and it means the belt is already slipping under load rather than driving the roller cleanly. Belts wear gradually, so the loss often shows up as a creeping change rather than a sudden failure, which is why it can go unnoticed until a patch that used to come clean in one pass needs several.

Before ordering, pull any belt remnant from the machine and check it for glazing, cracking along the inside edge, or a length that has visibly stretched compared with a new one. Then confirm the model number on the machine's rating label reads FH55010, FH55050PC or FH55000, since Hoover does not share one belt across every machine carrying the PowerDash name.
