Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Behind the bag compartment flap of a SEBO upright there is a small steel spring, and it is the reason the door has a definite action instead of flopping. Part 5304 is that spring, supplied singly.
Springs fatigue quietly, which is why this failure is usually noticed late. The door stops returning to the closed position by itself, then it starts sitting a shade proud of the housing rather than pulling flush, and eventually it stays shut only because the latch is holding it there. The compartment is part of the sealed airflow path, so a flap that stays down through friction alone is worth putting right — the seal earns its keep only when the door is drawn evenly onto it.
SEBO records the spring at position 128 on both the AUTOMATIC X4 / X5 and ESSENTIAL G4 / G5 sheets, and at position 137 on the AUTOMATIC X7 / X8 sheet, always directly alongside the access door axle 5303. The two work as a pair and it is worth having both on the bench, particularly on a machine where the door has been forced or dropped open under load. Fitment runs across the SEBO AUTOMATIC X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost, X5, X7 Premium, X7 Pet and X8, the ESSENTIAL G1, G2, G4 and G5, and the CE12 Softcase.
