The 30 ft tapered-cuff Basic central vacuum hose (SKU 302TC) is built for the larger wall openings some older systems use. Its Tapered Cuff — pre-attached at the factory — seats in inlet valves measuring 1.5" or more in diameter, including Filtex valves that use metal doors, along with older Imperium, Astro Vac, and Vacumaid inlets built around a single contact point in the wall valve's interior.

Important fit note: the rubber hose end cannot engage valves that carry two contact points inside the vacuum opening — those systems need a different hose style.
