Older systems with smaller wall openings need a hose made for them: SKU 302RC is a high-quality, crush-proof 30 ft Basic central vacuum hose fitted with a Reduced Cuff that seats in 1.25" diameter outlet valves. That covers central vacuums from Whirlpool, Budd, Sears - Kenmore, and Black & Decker.
The Reduced Cuff arrives already attached to the hose, so there is nothing to assemble — plug in and clean. Note that the 1.25" attachment end is smooth, with no button lock, and the accessory end takes any friction-fit wand.
